Splendor 3D printed Game Pieces
I love board games and one of my favorites is Splendor, a gem collecting game. These gems are represented by chips in the game, but I wanted to print them using a resin printer to make 3D game pieces. I used Thingiverse models to print and focus on learning a variety of materials and post-processing methods.

First thing I did was to evaluate what size piece felt right, 100% or 75% scale factor. The 100% had the best resolution as expected and felt correct.

Second thing I looked at was the post processing of the gems. They are positioned in clarity Left to right 1- Sanded and Gloss clear coat 2-lightly Sanded and Satin clear coat 3-sanded to polished and oiled 4-natural
